Biosketch Alexander Craik is currently a PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Houston. He previously received his M.S. in ECE, his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, and his B.A. in Economics. His research involves the use of transfer learning and deep neural networks to decode motor intent with EEG, and the development of a custom brain computer interface system for stroke rehabilitation. His interests include neuroscience and speech synthesis
