Biosketch Esther Jin’s current work involves developing a biomechanical simulation of the UH pediatric exoskeleton to simulate the device’s effects on a musculoskeletal cerebral palsy model. Her interests include computer-aided design and robotics, the latter of which she satisfies working as Team Captain of her robotics team, Team 118 the Robonauts, competing in the FIRST Robotics Competition at the state and international level, and volunteering as a mentor for Landolt Elementary’s robotics teams. She will be interning with Johnson Space Center’s Crew and Thermal Systems Division in the fall.
