Post-Graduate Plans After graduating from Rice University I intend to spend a gap year doing work in bioinformatics or chemical and biomolecular engineering. Afterwards I hope to attend medical school and pursue a dual degree of an MD and a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering. With these studies I hope to further connect medicine to engineering with work in biomedical design and clinical practice.
Biosketch My name is Paras Gupta and I am a rising senior studying Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Rice University. In my free time you can catch me playing basketball or spending time with my closest friends. I am very involved at Rice University and am the President of one of the 11 residential colleges, Martel College. After my undergraduate studies I hope to pursue medical school and a joint degree M.S. in Biomedical Engineering.
