Biosketch Allen is a senior at Clear Lake High School. Although he has varying interests, he's primarily interested in the intersection between engineering and service. For instance, he has previously researched and optimized the use of slow-release carbon bioreactors in residential areas with local engineers to prevent algal blooms in local waterways. Allen is also president of his school's Science National Honor Society, a member of Robonauts 118, and a mentor for his local Mathcounts team. Outside of school, Allen enjoys playing ping pong, competing in DECA and BPA, and binge-watching Masterchef.
