Post-Graduate Plans I plan to attend college and major in either electrical engineering or neuroscience to someday pursue a career in neural engineering.
Biosketch Janhvi Somaiya is continuing her work in the Laboratory for Non-Invasive Brain-Machine Interfaces through her research in analyzing EEG data to understand the relationship between creativity and the brain. She pursues her interest in science through participation in the Future Problem Solving competition, finding solutions to problems from an array of technical areas and leading her team as Co-President to compete at the state and international levels. In addition, Janhvi shares her passion through her work as an officer in her school’s Science National Honor Society and SciNow, creating science clubs at local elementary schools to foster interest in STEM.
