Biosketch Advika is a rising junior at West Windsor Plainsboro High School North. She is passionate and determined to advance medicine through therapeutic development using computational modeling. She is especially drawn to biomolecular engineering, particularly implantable devices and tissue engineering, and hopes to explore their applications in neurology. Advika enjoys exploring the intersection between technical and creative problem solving. She is excited to apply her experiences, through hands-on research, design creative innovations, collaborate with peers and mentors, and deepen her knowledge of neurology. Through this experience, Advika aims to contribute innovative ideas that translate into real-world healthcare solutions. Beyond academics, she enjoys dancing and researching its impact on neural impulses, solving 3D puzzles, and spending time with friends. She's also fascinated by tinkering machines made from household material, debugging new programming languages, and uncovering patterns in complex combinatorics and number theory problems. Through IUCRC REM, she is eager to explore challenges and make a meaningful impact in her community.
