Expected Graduation Date Spring 2028
Biosketch Mikhilesh Seepana is a rising sophomore at Round Rock High School. He is passionate about brain-computer interfaces (BCI), artificial intelligence (AI), and robotics, with a special interest in how these technologies can support attention, focus, and learning in neurodiverse students. He is especially drawn to research that explores the relationship between brain activity and physical motion, as well as how machine learning can reduce math anxiety and personalize education. As a cadet in both the Civil Air Patrol and the JROTC Marine Corps Leadership program, he is gaining experience in cybersecurity, robotics, and aerospace. In his free time, he assists with animal care and recovery at the animal shelter. Mikhilesh is thankful and excited for the opportunity to learn from researchers at the University of Houston’s BRAIN Center and contribute to interdisciplinary neuroscience /neurotech projects through the REM program.
