Biosketch Sydney Jeffcoat graduated from the Unviersity of Houston - Clear Lake with a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Biology in 2018. While at UHCL she conducted two independent research projects over water quality and microplastics in the Amazon Rainforest. Sydney is just wrapping up her third year of teaching high school science. While teaching, she has discovered an interest in the effects of trauma on the brain and body. Sydney will begin taking undergraduate courses in Psychology in order to begin applying for Doctor of Psychology programs in the Fall of 2024. In her free time, Sydney enjoys kayaking, reading, hiking, camping, and exploring in her Jeep.
