Biosketch Sandra teaches high school chemistry and biology at Sam Rayburn High School. Her reasons for becoming a teacher are twofold: she has a passion for science, and she values the connections that being a teacher allows her to make. Sandra lives in Clear Lake with her husband, high schooler and three cats. Sandra also has 2 college-aged sons. In her free time, she enjoys running, gardening, and exploring new destinations.
