Biosketch Savannah Salazar has a passion for learning and research. She was a participant in two research opportunities in Amazonas, Brazil at the University of Houston - Clear lake. UHCL is where she graduated with her BS in Biology and Minor in Ecology and Microbiology in 2014. As a result, she has been able to share that knowledge with her students while teaching various topics in class. Savannah is currently a 9th grade Biology teacher in CCISD and would like to expand her knowledge in neurology and the impacts trauma has on the brain. In her free time, she enjoys learning new things, researching/exploring, the outdoors, and reading.
