Biosketch Sofia Alvarado is a recent graduate from the University of Houston with a BA in political science. She will be applying to graduate programs in the fall. Her interests are primarily within the application of technology and education. Her experience working with children at the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston has ignited a curiosity regarding brain development. In her free time she reads as many books as she can regarding the history of America and the United Kingdom. Her hobbies include bouldering and running with her dog.
