Biosketch Olivia Bailey is currently a junior CWIT (Center for Women in Technology) Scholar at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in psychology. During the summer of 2019, she is working in Dr. Becker’s lab on the magnetic swimmer project. The goal of this project is to create microrobots that will be able to navigate through the bloodstream and breakdown blood clots and cysts.
