Biosketch I am a biomedical engineering undergraduate student from Arizona State University, entering my fourth year this fall. I am deeply passionate about exoskeletons and prosthetics, since these fields initially inspired me to pursue biomedical engineering, and they continue to guide my academic path and professional aspirations. My foundation was in FIRST Robotics all throughout high school. Over the past three years, I worked in a neuromotor control research lab, focusing on research in the correlation between EMG and finger force manipulation. During the school year, I am working on my thesis on the effects of deliberate cold water immersion on the subject’s EEG waves. I have strong technical skills in MATLAB, Python, COMSOL, and LTSpice. However, my specialty lies with CAD programs, including Inventor, Fusion360, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks. I am working with the project PLEGS exoskeleton team this summer, where I aim to integrate my background skills and knowledge to support this research. This research will support my future master’s thesis, as well as prepare me for when I enter the industry. I am excited to apply my skills and grow my knowledge with such a fascinating project.
