Biosketch I was born on October 9th, 2002, on the island state of Mauritius, a country which is located in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar. My parents brought me to New York City when I was just three months old, so I grew up in NYC. I went to Michael J. Buczek school (elementary), then Columbia Secondary School (middle and high school). I have loved physics since I was a child, but also had an interest in the biology of aging. So when I started my undergrad at Columbia, I first thought I would study Biomedical Engineering, then I planned to major in Applied Physics, However, I eventually chose Mechanical Engineering, since I felt it would offer me the widest range of choices. I am excited to apply engineering principles to improve human life and augment our capabilities!
