Biosketch Amy Lam is a junior at Rice University from Long Beach, California. She is majoring in Cognitive Science with a minor in Data Science. Amy currently works as a research assistant at The Neuroscience of Memory, Mood, and Aging Lab where she studies the relationship between music, emotional arousal, and memory. She is fascinated by interactions between music and the brain, especially those related to memory and emotion. She looks forward to expanding her knowledge of these topics as she continues her undergraduate education. In her free time, she enjoys listening to jazz and classical music, going to concerts, trying vegan food, and making earrings.
