Biosketch Jackson Levine is currently a member of Tau Beta Pi at Tulane University double majoring in biomedical engineering and neuroscience. He is from Portsmouth, Rhode Island. For the summer of 2019, he is working in Dr. Layne’s lab investigating the use of focal vibration as a therapeutic tool to improve gait. The goal of this research is to determine the best location and conditions of vibration such that vibration can be used as a treatment for patients who suffer from abnormal gait, such as those with Parkinson’s Disease or Spinal Cord Injuries.
