Biosketch Michael Ly is a biomedical engineering student, based in New York state, concentrating on prosthetics and brain-computer interfaces. His current studies at Stony Brook University focuses on tissue-engineered kidneys under varied flow parameters and biosensor wrist devices. Michael is an on-campus member of the American Red Cross, a graphic designer for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the vice president of the Biomedical Engineering Society. In his spare time, Michael enjoys volunteering at multiple local programs to help encourage STEM+ for minorities and the disabled.
