Biosketch Chae is a physics major from Pomona College in Claremont, CA. Although his interests vary widely, his primary long-term goal is to help develop technologies that relieve the devastating impacts of neuropsychiatric diseases. His previous research with Dr. Peter Elias investigated the phenotypic overlap between autism and atopic dermatitis among children and young teenagers. The team examined possible causal links between epidermal abnormalities and neurological disorders. Outside of academia, Chae enjoys playing the piano, listening to classical music, and cooking.
